The R4D is the Navy version of the C-47 Cargo plane. R4Ds were used during World War II for the transport of troops, cargo, and wounded. Ready 4 Duty is the last flying US Navy R4D preserved in its original wartime configuration A MINIMUM OF 8 PASSENGERS ARE REQUIRED MAKE A FLIGHT.
